10 years of Iran Mercantile Exchange

The Iran Mercantile Exchange has become 10 years old. Its CEO, Hamed Soltaninejad says that they experienced a high-yield year. The total value of trades, in the first 10 months of the current year has been higher than the total value of trades last year. Mr. Soltaninejad also stated that 100 thousand farmers sell their produce in this market.

IRNA has announced the Privatization Organizations plans to offer government shares of Asia Insurance, Alborz Insurance and Amin Co-op via the Bourse in February. Based on this bill, all governmental shares of Asia Insurance (18.8%), Alborz Insurance (17.3%) and Amin Co-op (14.6%) are to priced and then sold to the private sector.
