Week in Brief 08.02.2019

Qatar Airways adds a new destination to its list: Isfahan. From this week, two weekly flights on Mondays and Thursdays are scheduled between the ancient Iranian city of Isfahan and Hamd International Airport.

Qatar Airways also increases its flights to Tehran, to reach triple daily flights, except on Tuesdays, from previously twice daily flights.

The Qatari airline also adds three more weekly flights to its schedule to Shiraz to provide a-daily flight-a-week. Qatar Airways also flies daily to Mashad.

Adding Isfahan to its destinations happens while many European airlines, like British Airways, Air France and KLM have stopped flying to Tehran after the US has returned sanctions on Iran.

Recently, Germany has also canceled permissions from the Iranian airline, Mahan Air, which was flying to Munich and Düsseldorf.
