Banking Sector: blocked in the stock market

Ebtekar newspaper published a list of banks and financial institutions whose symbol has been stopped from trading for several months. The symbol of Iran’s Saderat Bank has been blocked since June 2016 due to general assembly and has yet to be re-opened. The symbol for Tejarat Bank which had re-opened after 6 months with a 34% drop in value in February 2017, was again blocked in June. Shares of Iran Zamin Bank which were traded in FaraBourse have been blocked since April 2015 pending the submission of critical data. The symbol for Pasargad Bank has been blocked since November 2016 due to ambiguity in their data. Furthermore, trade of Parsian Bank symbol has been blocked since October 2016.

The majority of these symbols have been blocked due to the leak of critical data, not holding annual general assemblies and ambiguity in data.
