The Financial Times writes that the President of Iran acknowledges youth concerns behind street protests. As the President Rouhani admits that the voice of people should be heard and listened to, The Financial Times quotes him saying that: “Some give misleading statements that people only want money and a [stronger] economy. But is anyone ready to receive better salaries but see social media blocked… or not to be able to talk freely? The problem is that we seek to impose our lifestyle on… [all] generations.”
Dr. Rouhani sees the main problem as the gap between the authorities and the younger generation who sees the world differently.
